Freedom begins with letting go of what no longer serves you
These last couple of months, I have been learning, or re-learning, something I already know. When something is not working, I have a strong impulse to push harder. Make a better plan. Adjust the marketing. Try one more time.
Last August I started Intuition Workout. I have had a physical practice group for a long time, and I thought it would be a good idea to offer this to you as well, online, to make it easy to join.
But after seven months, engagement was low, so I stopped and asked myself: Is this really what I should keep doing now?
It was not an easy question. But my body answered quickly, long before my head was done arguing.
I chose to put Intuition Workout on pause. And what I felt when the decision was made was a elief, a sense of freedom. That Monday, when I made the decision, I wrote down one line:
freedom = growth and development
It is not giving up. It is listening. The best decisions I have made have rarely come from analysing my way to the answer. They have come from feeling, long enough for what is true to become clear.
What happened when I chose to let go was that I made room for something I have wanted for a long time a full-day workshop called Encounters of Presence. A format that creates room for deeper experiences, and this feels right as a next step for me.
For me the shift is to go from holding on to something I "should" do, just because I started it, to choosing what actually feels right.
What are you holding on to that no longer serves you, but you keep doing because you "should"?
Listen to what you already know
I believe many of us carry the weight of choices we have already made on the inside, but have not made on the outside yet. What you already know, but have not said out loud, is there waiting.
Here is a small exercise for you. It takes 5 minutes:
- Bring your attention to your breath. Let your analytical mind rest for the next few minutes. Close your eyes if you like.
- Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly. Feel that you are breathing into your hands.
- Ask yourself: "What am I doing that no longer feels right?"
- Write it down without censoring. Dare to be honest with yourself, one short sentence is enough. You do not need to make a decision right now, just feel what is true.
Let what comes up land in your body, without filtering. Notice what happens when you sit with it for a little while. So easy, and still so hard.
What do you already know, but have not said out loud yet?
If you feel like being a little brave today, reply to this email and share what is true for you right now.
Invitation
In the pace most of us live at, it is easy to lose connection with ourselves. That often shows up as friction in our relationships, at work and at home. Stress and lack of contact lead to a dysregulated nervous system. Tantra can help you find your way back to presence and contact.
This is exactly what I work with at Tantrasenteret in Oslo.
Next workshop: Gift of Taking, Sunday 14 June, 13:00–17:00.
A half-day workshop for you who want to learn how to take from a place of freedom and follow what you want. Facilitated by Andrea and Kilo. Location: Tantrasenteret, Oslo.

Tantra therapy: I have Fridays open at Tantrasenteret in May and June. For couples who are ready to work with closeness, communication, and patterns that no longer serve you.
It takes courage to begin, and it is worth it.
💜 Welcome!
Warm regards,
Andrea
